CARBO-FUEL is a 100% pure complex carbohydrate that dissolves easily in water with a neutral, non-sweet taste, providing pure calories that are easy to digest. Each scoop of CARBO-FUEL contains 25 grams of complex carbs equaling 100 calories. To sustain a minimum of 200 calories per hour, two scoops should be mixed in 12 to 16 oz of water.

The brain utilizes 25% of the glucose in the body, and during intense training and racing, the brain is pushed to its limits. For a two-hour activity, at least 400 calories are required, which can be achieved by consuming four scoops of CARBO-FUEL. It is recommended to sip it during the activity or split it into two bottles, consuming two scoops before and two scoops after the activity. Up to 300 calories per hour of training can be consumed. CARBO-FUEL can be consumed in any drink or food, including oatmeal, breakfast cereal or post-activity recovery shakes, to replenish muscle glycogen stores.
CARBO-FUEL can also be used for carb loading. During the four days leading up to the competition, carb loading can be achieved by taking two scoops of CARBO-FUEL in 10-12 oz of water first thing in the morning and two scoops in the evening or before bed. It is recommended to try carb loading during training before doing so for a race.
